Included in this album are four solo Acoustic guitar pieces in alternative tunings, two songs on high strung guitar, and even a politically correct,environmentally friendly, gender sensitive, blues tune.

This album has one of Jay's fan favorites,"Festejo" along with several other up tempo tunes. It's the only album to date ( but not for much longer) that features great Brass on two of the songs. Contrast that with a solo Acoustic version of "Great is Thy Faithfullness", two orchestral pieces, and some beautiful solo violin and you have "Beyond Words".

Integrity/Hosanna did an instrumental series of albums in the mid 90s called "The Signature Series". Each album in the series featured a different instrument to perform the artist's individual versions and arrangements of worship songs and hymns from their publishing catalog. Jay was chosen to do the album that featured guitar for that series.You will hear his featured guitar stylings in these unique and beautiful arrangements.
